Episode 1
It’s a new series family. Episode One of the One Room Challenge is here. Yes, we are here again because I decided to take part in the spring One Room Challenge (ORC). I enjoyed it so much last fall. You can see the fall transformation here. As you know, this is a way for me to dedicate time to focus on a room in my home. It is a little crazy with day-to-day work for my home projects.
The ORC is an 8-week challenge to transform a space in your home. The challenge is open to everyone. Get this, it is a self-challenge. You join many others across the world in support of completing a room. It’s a community of like-minded people. Like you have viewers for your own series to help motivate you to the finish line. If there is a room in your house that needs some love, join ORC for a big push to get it done.

This spring, I am focusing on revamping my entryway. I know we are not having people over as we used to. But when that all changes, the mood will be set. I am still not sure if I would include the outside. I guess that would be a surprise reveal if I do.
Entryway
My entryway is small, as you see in the photo. The entry table was already moved out. I am planning to stain it for this new design. In 2018, I signed the contract to build this home as a birthday gift to myself. It could be my forever home. The changes and enhancements I had for this home at that time are starting to come to life. Getting it done one room at a time.

Although I already had a little setback, I worked it out. No worries, my job is finding solutions, and I am happy with the slight change. I hope you will follow along as I transform my entryway over the next couple of weeks.
