One Room Challenge | Week 2: Starting Line-Up

asstyledinteriors.com-one room challenge week 2

I mentioned last week in the initial ORC blog that I had two rooms in mind for this challenge.  The laundry room or the master bath.  Well for this fall challenge I have decided to transform my master bathroom.  Who knows, the laundry room might star in the spring challenge. Now, let’s get to the starting line-up.

If you missed last week’s post you can read it here.

Below is a picture of my current bathroom. The double doors are the entrance to my closet. The closet is not part of my bathroom transformation. Although, I would love to partner with someone to come in and customize it. We will take a peek into my closet during the final reveal. You may need to remind me during week six.

First, I thought about changing out the fixtures.  But why? I love to mix metals and my master bath should not be an exception.

Here is a look at the concept board for my bathroom transformation.

I purchased the first mirror in October 2019 and had it hung in another part of the home.  Shortly after, I decided the mirror would work better in my master bathroom.  I did not buy the second mirror right away.  That was a mistake on my part because when I did get to the site, it was out of stock.

Ok, not a big deal, I had to wait, right?  Then pandemic hit.  Now I was a little on edge not knowing if/when I would buy a second mirror.  I checked Renwil website until the mirror was back in stock.  Once I was able to buy, the mirror did not arrive until June 2020.  And so here we are.  ORC Fall 2020 is putting this bathroom in motion.

The current question as I move forward in this project is sticking with a paint color. This is the one thing that has changed during the planning phase. I have a floral wallpaper purchased and I am hoping it arrives in time. Sherwin-Williams, you are up.

See you next week with a new update. What paint color do you think should have been in this ORC starting line-up?
