Calling the plays
Hey there! Let’s get into calling one room challenge week 3 plays. I am in a crucial down of week 3 of the one-room challenge. The large bathroom wall mirror. Thinking back to the building days and wondering why I had the builder install the mirror. I knew at that point the mirror did not work in my bathroom plan.

After all, there is a tight timeframe to have the mirror removed. The one-room challenge is only 6 weeks. Like any project, these six weeks must be managed to keep everything moving. There was a slim window to get the mirror off the wall. It was the first item on my to-do list.
Not to mention, everyone I looked into hiring only had availability that was outside of my window. They were busy with other jobs. Pushing this back would throw a foul in the play. So, I decided to tackle the mirror myself. This play calls for removing the mirror in one piece and without any cracks. Please note, I have never attempted to remove a mirror.

Well, let’s say I put it off for a couple of days for research. Study the opponent to gain a win. I went to YouTube University and begin studying the videos. Play by Play.
After a trip to Lowes to gather the needed tools. It was time to say put me in coach. Put me in coach. What seems to be a slow process the mirror is down. There was one difficult spot that resulted in the most damage to the wall. No worries because I gathered the material for wall repair as well.
Paint Selection
If you recall in last week’s blog, I was heading to Sherwin-Williams for paint. You might be surprised by the pop of color. Take a look at the Duration Home sample in Kimono Violet SW6839. This beautiful rich color will appear in the water closet. A special thank you to my rep Ashlynn and Sherwin-Williams #7607 in Frisco, TX for sponsoring the paint.

I did place an order for some wallpaper that will complement the Kimono Violet paint. I hope it arrives in time to include in this reveal.
Coming Up
Next week I will reveal the counter shelf I had custom-made. The shelf was inspired by a Pinterest find. You can see a snip of it in last week’s concept reveal.
Time to head to practice.
